Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tarqa AI Academy ("Academy"), operated by Tarqa AI Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Tarqa AI", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Academy.

These terms apply to all visitors, students, and enterprise users of academy.tarqaai.com and related services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian to use the Academy. By enrolling, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Courses and Certifications

The AI Practitioner path is offered free of charge. The AI Auditor path requires payment of the listed fee (currently ₹9,999) and includes a proctored examination.

Course content, pricing, and availability are subject to change. We will honor pricing at the time of your enrollment.

Certifications (Tarqa AI Fundamentals and Tarqa Certified AI Auditor) are issued upon successful completion of all required coursework and assessments. Each credential is digitally verifiable at academy.tarqaai.com/verify.

Certifications represent demonstrated competency in the covered frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, India DPDP Act). They are industry credentials and do not constitute a regulatory license or legal qualification.

5. Proctored Examinations

The AI Auditor certification requires a proctored final exam (90 minutes, scheduled online). You agree to comply with all proctoring requirements including identity verification and examination conduct rules.

Any cheating, impersonation, or use of unauthorized materials during the exam will result in immediate disqualification and potential account termination. No refund will be issued in such cases.

6. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes will be added at checkout.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of enrollment and before completing more than 25% of the course content. Refunds are processed within 10 business days.

Exam fees are non-refundable once a proctored exam slot has been scheduled.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, content, assessments, branding, and platform code are the intellectual property of Tarqa AI Solutions Pvt. Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Academy content without prior written consent.

Your certification credential and verification URL may be shared publicly on your resume, LinkedIn profile, or professional portfolio.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) share your account or exam access with others; (b) scrape, download, or bulk-copy course content; (c) reverse-engineer the platform; (d) use the Academy for any unlawful purpose; (e) misrepresent your certification status.

9. Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise customers (team enrollments, white-label academies, live workshops) are governed by a separate Enterprise Agreement in addition to these terms. In the event of a conflict, the Enterprise Agreement takes precedence.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Academy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Tarqa AI does not guarantee that certifications will be recognized by any specific employer, regulator, or institution.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tarqa AI's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Academy shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course or certification in question.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the Academy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Academy after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
